Leipziger Notenspur

Leipzig boasts a concentration of original sites associated with world-famous composers that is unique worldwide. Since May 12, 2012, the Leipzig Music Trail has made this musical heritage accessible to tourists. Since the individual stops are not far apart, you can easily explore them on foot.  At each stop, audio samples and information in German and English provide fascinating insights. You can also view the entire tour through a unique 360° panoramic walk.

The Leipzig Music Trail connects the most important original sites in Leipzig’s city center over a distance of 5.1 km. Curved steel elements in the ground mark the path as it winds through the city center. You can start and end the tour at any stop. The Leipzig Music Bike also offers the opportunity to experience Leipzig’s musical history in an active way, providing a completely different and wonderful perspective.
