Not only the treasures of the earth but also the ideas of the most notable personalities, traditions and customs, handicrafts and artwork are entwined with the mountain city. For example, Adam Ries, the world-famous German arithmetician, taught maths at his school for arithmetic. Today, the school is a museum, where guests can acquire their arithmetic diploma based on the methods of Adam Ries.

  • The upper floor with special exhibition/calculating school is only accessible via stairs
