In Saxony, museums of international standing and also museums, which are unique in the world, can be visited. One of the unique museums is the Mendelssohn-House in Leipzig - the only dwelling and last residence of the great composer that was preserved as a museum. Among the most famous museums are the State Art Collections Dresden. They are 450 years old.
