Come, let's go hutzen! A pre-Christmas tradition in the Erzgebirge are the Hutzen afternoons and Hutzen evenings. In the past, the people of the region used to gather at dusk in the small room next door. They carved, made bobbins, chatted, ate and drank. Even today, the Hutzen tradition is still cultivated in many cultural institutions and inns with social gatherings.
Sitting together comfortably at the tiled stove or in the good room has a long tradition in the Erzgebirge. The latest gossip is exchanged. It goes without saying that the people of the Erzgebirge cultivated their handicrafts, the clappers jumped and the shavings flew while carving. We take up this tradition, reinterpret it and turn it into a cultural and culinary Hutzohmd with Neinerlaa and entertainment with de Holzmauser. De Holzmauser cultivate Erzgebirge hand music for listening and singing along.
