"Important Guests at Saxony´s most Beautiful Fortress"
Finally the museum of the fortress in Koenigstein is opening again! Fitting to the re-opening and the 65th anniversary a special discovery is waiting for the visitors: the journal of Augustus the Strong in which he documented every visitor of the famous fortress. This book is the highlight of the exhibition.
Besides spectacular, international loans e.g. paintings of Louis de Silvestre are telling more about the fortress and its visitors. Why has emperor Napoleon stranded here? What was the intention of Alexander von Humboldt? And what has count Wackerbarth thought about this, also in former days, very impressive facility? He will surely tell by himself because actors let the nobles speak, which makes this exhibition alive and special.
The musical entertainment is guaranteed as well as fun for the kids: They can design their individual souvenir or have fun during a quiz.
