Around 730 historical monuments, sites and parks can be experienced by curious visitors in Saxony on Open Monument Day on September 12. On this day, thousands of historic sites nationwide open their doors free of charge and draw attention to the importance and preservation of our cultural heritage. Visitors can get to know many listed buildings and partly unknown treasures.
