At the Karl May Festival in Radebeul, visitors experience adventure, excitement and fascinating insights into foreign cultures. For three days, the picturesque Lößnitzgrund is transformed into an adventurous Wild West world, just as Karl May wrote in his books.
Cowboys and scoundrels roam the streets, settlers go about their daily business and soldiers foil attacks on the Santa Fe Express.
Country music and swinging rhythms echo from the western city. International musicians invite you to the dance floor and make sure that the nights are exuberant and full of dancing and exciting adventures await the little greenhorns and cowboys in the woods and rivers. In the Lößnitzriver they search for hidden gold deposits. The big star rider parade on Sunday is one of the highlights of the holidays. Hundreds of riders from all over Germany will be riding on horseback across the Meißner Straße to the festival grounds.
