Saxony's youngest classical music festival, the Chamber Music Festival Upper Lusatia, will see a second edition from September 10 to 17, 2021, after its successful premiere in 2020. Over 30 international classical music stars will perform in 7 concerts at 6 different castles and churches.
The line-up of artist stars includes the world-famous violist Nils Mönkemeyer, the concertmaster of the Hessian Radio Orchestra Florin Iliescu, the internationally acclaimed piano duo Ariane Haering & Ardita Statovci, the Cantor of St. Nicholas in Leipzig Lucas Pohle, a chamber choir of the Dresden Kreuzchor ("Crucians") and the two renowned chamber orchestras Thuringian Bach Collegium and l'arte del mondo.
