The cultural festival ibug (short for industrial brownfield redevelopment) skilfully combines urban art with industrial culture. ibug's venues are Saxony's annually changing industrial wastelands, which are transformed into a total work of art within a week by artists from all over the world. Paintings, frescoes, installations and garden courses are created. The festival is framed by a music and film programme. In 2019, almost 100 creative people were involved in the artistic revitalisation of the Vogtland railway depot in Reichenbach. The result attracted more than 10,000 visitors from all over Germany.
