What is Meissen porcelain? Can you hear and taste it? What does it smell like when it is painted? How does it feel to touch a figure blindly?
The guided tour of the senses is devoted to these questions and turns astonished children into knowledgeable experts in no time at all. In the rooms of the show workshop, children and their parents have the opportunity to explore Meissen porcelain with all their senses: seeing, feeling, smelling, hearing and tasting.
The illustrative tour explains in a child-friendly manner what the porcelain mass is made of, how it is shaped and how Meissen porcelain is made. The museum rule 'Please do not touch!' is deliberately overridden here.
