Established more than 730 years ago in the picturesque Muldental near Grimma, the town Hoefgen enchants their visitors with its wide offer when it comes to experience the beauty of nature in a whole new way.

The town´s highlight is a four-sided courtyard dated back to the 17th century, which forms the diversified cultural center. Right behind the monument smithy, you´ll find an artist workshop, a gallery, as well as a social-cultural center, and a hotel.
