High-quality offers and smart measures
The Tourismus Marketing Gesellschaft Sachsen mbH (TMGS) was founded on January 1st, 2000. Since then, 15 employees work with creative product ideas, high-quality offers and smart measures.
The aim is to place the holiday destination Saxony on the German and international market. The key topics are art and culture, city tourism, family holidays, vitality & wellness und active holidays. Correspondingly, holiday offers can be booked through the Tourist Reservation and Booking System TOURBU, at AMEROPA and ITS and online. At TOURBU alone, about 950 accommodating establishments, from private accommodation to the Grand Hotel, throughout Saxony are available for selection.
The TMGS is located in the regional capital Dresden. Partners are the Landestourismusverband Sachsen e.V. (regional tourist association), the six touristic regional associations, the marketing associations of the cities Dresden, Leipzig and Chemnitz, the three chambers of business and commerce in Saxony as well as the SAXONIA Fördergesellschaft für das Hotel- und Gaststättengewerbe im Freistaat Sachsen mbH (SAXONIA development company for the hotel and catering industry in the Free State Saxony), a subsidiary of the DEHOGA Saxony.
